“The National Helpline signs up as event partner
The finalists have been announced and the 100+ judges are musing over the winners – and now Cycle-SOS has lent its weight to the BikeBiz Awards 2010.
The company has rebranded after 22 years, but the organisation’s remit remains the same – its mantra being to remove the obstacles, barriers and apprehensions from the uptake of safe cycling.
And as it promotes its new name to the industry, Cycle-SOS has become Event Partner of the BikeBiz Awards.
“We’ve sponsored the event in order to increase our profile within the industry,” said Paul Darlington of Cycle-SOS. “After almost a quarter of a century, with several hundred thousands of our contact cards in circulation and a contented band of compensated clients, we believe that we’re quite well known to the grass roots for whom we’ve recovered literally millions of pounds, at no cost whatsoever to them.”
