A group of cyclists at a starting line for a race.

And they’re off – en route vers Paris…

And they’re off, Cure Leukaemia’s London 2 Paris: Inspiring the Revolution ride is now in full cycle.

Setting off from Greenwich Park, London at 8:00am this morning, riders taking part in the event are now well on their way towards Paris.

Starting the 500km ride by cycling from London down to Dover, the cyclists are currently making their way towards their first pit stop in Aylesford, Kent and have had the opportunity to ride on a closed section of motorway – definitely not something to do unless on an organised ride!

You can keep updated with the progress of the ride by visiting this blog or by following @Cycle_SOS on Twitter.

While should you wish to contribute towards the sponsorship efforts in the fight against leukaemia, you can do so through their Just Giving page.
